The FIFA Desktop Widget was released in concert with Yahoo’s World Cup sponsorship. It provided a fun and quick way for fans to keep tabs on their favorite teams during the games. It displayed updated photos, news, scores, rankings, and schedules. When not in use, it collapsed down to a soccer ball on the desktop.
